New Hollow End Links for the Oyster Band, 20mm
Rolex 580 end links join a 78360 or 93150 Oyster bracelet to the case of a vintage Explorer, GMT-Master, Milgauss or Submariner. Oysters Jubilee manufactures the 580 new, as an aftermarket replacement: hollow end links that fit the lugs of nine Rolex references. Each piece measures 20mm across. The code is the place to start. On a vintage watch, the number 580 sits on the inside of each hollow end link, and it tells you which bracelet code and case shape the part belongs to. Our 580 is an Oyster part. Jubilee bracelets use their own codes.
Replacement End Pieces Machined to Period-Correct Specifications
Oysters Jubilee manufactures these replacement end pieces to period-correct dimensions. The part is stainless steel and brand new, so it arrives with none of the wear a used end piece carries after decades on a wrist.Rolex introduced solid end links in later production runs. Our line covers the earlier hollow end link period, which is exactly where the 580 belongs. Our end links are made in Europe, and every item is individually inspected before it leaves our workshop.
Which Rolex Watches Take 580 End Links
Our 580 listing names nine case references across five model families, and the Rolex compatibility chart pairs the 580 with each of them. Every primary 580 pairing runs on one of two bracelets: the 93150 on the Submariner, the 78360 on everything else.Production years matter here. Each reference takes the 580 as its primary end link only inside the window shown below. Outside it, the chart lists a different primary end link, sometimes with the 580 as the alternate. Check the year before the model name.
Submariner 5512, 5513, 1680 and 16800 on the 93150
The Submariner is the largest 580 family. The 5512 runs on a 93150 with 580 end links from 1976 to 1980. The 5513 holds the longest pairing in the group, 1976 to 1989, and our page of Submariner 5513 bracelets and end links gathers every part we make for it.The 1680 is shorter. It takes the 580 from 1976 to 1979, after an earlier spell on the 280.The 16800 starts on the 580 in 1979. From 1984 the chart moves it to the 593, with the 580 kept as the alternate.
GMT-Master, Explorer and Milgauss on the 78360 Oyster Bracelet
Five of the listed references wear the 580 on the 78360. Each one has its own window on the chart:
- GMT-Master 1675: 1976 to 1980
- GMT-Master 16750: 1981 to 1988
- Explorer I 1016: 1976 to 1989
- Explorer II 1655: 1976 to 1984
- Milgauss 1019: 1976 to 1988
The bracelet code stays the same across all five, and so does the end link. Owners of an Explorer 1016 can match both at once on our page of Explorer 1016 bracelets and end links.

How to Confirm a 580 End Piece Fits Your Case
A 580 end piece fits when the case reference, the production year and the bracelet line all agree. Get one of them wrong and the part can still look right in a photo, then leave a gap at the lugs once it is on the watch. Two checks cause most of the trouble. One is the production year, because the 280 and the 580 share several references. The other is the bracelet line, because Oyster and Jubilee codes do not cross over.
Production Year: When the 280 Gives Way to the 580
Before 1976, six of the 580 references ran on earlier bracelets with the 280 end link: the Explorer 1016, Explorer II 1655, GMT-Master 1675 and Submariner 5512, 5513 and 1680. The Explorer 1016 wore a 7836 with the 280 from 1967 to 1976. The Explorer II 1655 did the same from 1971 to 1976, and the Submariner 1680 bracelets and end links page covers both of that model's pairings, starting with a 9315 and the 280 from 1969 to 1976. On the Explorer 1016, Explorer II 1655 and Submariner 1680 rows, the chart lists the 580 as the alternate. From 1976 all six move to the 580: the Submariners on the 93150, the Explorer, Explorer II and GMT-Master on the 78360. Our page of Explorer II 1655 bracelets and end links shows the same split. To confirm the right code for your watch:
- Find your case reference on the papers or between the lugs.
- Establish the production year of the case.
- Find the row on the chart where that reference and that year meet.
- Compare the number on the inside of your current end link with the row.
Oyster End Links and Jubilee Codes Are Not Interchangeable
The GMT-Master shows why the bracelet line matters. A 1675 or 16750 takes the 580 on an Oyster bracelet, but on a Jubilee 62510H the same case takes the 550. Both are hollow. Neither fits the other bracelet.Oyster end links and Jubilee end links follow separate code sets, even on one watch. If your GMT wears a Jubilee, shop our Jubilee end links such as the 550 instead of the 580.Same watch, two bracelets, two different end link codes.

Endlinks FAQ: Fitting a 580 to Your Oyster Band
These are the questions owners ask us most often before they order a 580.
Is the 580 End Link Hollow?
Yes. Every end link Oysters Jubilee manufactures is hollow, including the 580. Hollow construction matches the period these references were built in, so a hollow 580 is the period-correct choice for a 1970s or 1980s Explorer, GMT-Master or Submariner.
Does Every 16800 Take the 580?
No. A Submariner 16800 from 1979 to 1984 takes the 580 on a 93150. From 1984 to 1988 the chart pairs it with the 593, and lists the 580 as the alternate. Our page of Submariner 16800 bracelets and end links carries both codes.
Will a 580 Fit My Watch on a Jubilee?
No. The 580 is an Oyster end link. A GMT-Master 1675 or 16750 on a Jubilee 62510H takes the 550, and other Jubilee bracelets carry their own codes. Moving a GMT from an Oyster bracelet to a Jubilee means changing the end links along with the bracelet.
What If the Endlink Does Not Seat Flush at the Lugs?
Check the spring bars first, then the code. A gap usually means the code, the year or the bracelet line does not match the case. Send us your model and reference number and we will confirm the fit. If a part is not right for your watch, return it for a refund or exchange under our money-back guarantee.
20mm 580 End Links, New and Ready to Fit
Oysters Jubilee is an independent manufacturer of new aftermarket bracelets and hollow end links for vintage Rolex and Tudor watches. Our Rolex 580 endlinks are compatible with the Explorer, Explorer II, GMT-Master, Milgauss and Submariner references above, within the chart's production years.A Rolex 580 end piece connects one end of the bracelet to the case, so every bracelet needs an end link piece at each side. Fitted correctly, they give the Oyster watch band a secure fit at both lugs, with the lug width and curve the case was designed around.
